A Warning About Religiousforums.com
Some of you may or may not have heard about the website religiousforums.com which is a sub-par debating platform for those who want to debate about a variety of topics such as philosophy, science and religion. However, I would advise you, the reader, to stay as far away as possible from this site because it's not a professional debating platform. It caters to those who spread their pseudo-intellectual gibberish and is run like some sort of hierarchal mafia organization.
For example, If you are too smart for your opponent and he realizes you're getting the upper hand over him in a debate he will get his gangster buddies to team up against you, release every kind of ad-hominem attack and try to overpower you with his status. Then a moderator will show up, censor the strongest part of your rebuttal and give you a warning on your account for being too smart for your opponent. Of course, since the moderator is good friends with the little shmuch he will not receive a warning.
So, as you can see this is the hierarchal organization working at its finest over there on religiousforums.com. If you do not believe me just go create an account there and within a week you might just start realizing everything that I said here is in fact true, unfortunately. I am telling you this from personal experience. The smarter you are the more hate you will receive on that forum.
They claim to be all "science oriented people" but I can tell you they are absolutely not and spread scientific information that they don't even understand themselves or only understand a fraction of to "look" intelligent. A lot of the time its the wording of a headline for a scientific article that they try to use to bolster their flawed arguments but when you start analyzing the scientific articles they quote from and not just the headlines you quickly realize their arguments are not even supported by the information in the articles they quote from and is to the contrary! And so their arguments fall flat down on their faces.
If you are a serious debater who wants to debate online. Please save yourself the heartache and headache and do not use religiousforums.com for debating. It's not a serious platform for debates. Rather, it's a site for juveniles, bullies, pseudo-intellectuals, con-artists, and pretentious baffoons. That's what you get on a sub-par debating platform like religiousforums.com.
This is all coming from someone who has used the site on and off for 3 years and had one account banned already on unjust grounds simply for debating too seriously. My now second account is on the way to being banned yet again for the same exact reason and I had enough of it myself and will no longer be using religiousforums.com for any kind of debate whatsoever.
